How to set up LDAP for Mail.app

on Mac OS X

In Apple Mail, Preferences, Composing "tab", press Configure LDAP button, add a server:

Name: ldap.uwosh.edu

Server: ldap.uwosh.edu

Port: 389

Search Base: ou=people,o=uwosh.edu,dc=uwosh,dc=edu

This works only if you are connected to the campus wired network, or, if you're using the campus WIFI, if you're also using the campus VPN.
