We were kindly invited to serve on the initial steering group of the new PloneEdu initiative, which brings together educational institutions (K-12, higher ed) to promote the use of Plone within the educational space and to enhance Plone for use in that space.
We had our first conference call in February, and we have been setting goals and priorities, as well as working on the organization and content of our PloneEdu web site.
One vision we have is to provide a packaged Plone solution that includes all the 3rd party products and configurations we believe educational institutions are likely to want to use.
