Official mirror for Python package index

a funky mirror

As a service to the Python, and, in particular, the Plone and Zope communities, we are now running what is so far the only North American mirror of the Python package index.

http://pypi.it.uwosh.edu/

This means that you can use it for faster access to Python packages that are stored on the main pypi.python.org site, and, of course, in case the main pypi.python.org site is unavailable. Our mirror is one of our new virtual servers, and it updates its packages six times a day.

For instructions on how to use this with buildout or easy_install:
