We demonstrate Plone's workflow capabilities and uwosh.northstar to the Academic Computing Users Group

Our uwosh.northstar Plone product makes business process design possible for non-programmers. We explained the major components of a Plone workflow application: content type, workflow (states and transitions), security. We cited examples of production Plone workflow systems on campus, and, using NorthStar, created a simple book content type and assigned a two-state workflow to it.
