2017 Socratic Award Winner

The Philosophy Department is pleased to announce that Monika Greco, a graduating senior Philosophy (and Political Science) Major, has won the Philosophy Department's 2017 Socratic Award! She will also be presenting her original research at two prestigious conferences this semester...

Monika will be presenting her paper, "Critiquing Convergent Realism and Deconstructing the D-N Model", at the Wisconsin Philosophical Association's Conference, which is being held at UW Madison, 4/29/17. Prior to that she will also be presenting "A Critique of Convergent Realism and a Pragmatic Approach to Scientific Inquiry” at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) in Memphis TN, 4/5/17-4/7/17, along with 17 other UW Oshkosh students.

This Fall, Monika will begin to pursue her Masters degree in Philosophy at Tufts University, one of the top-ranked programs in the country.
