Metered parking Meter

Metered parking is available in some campus lots (see map) at a rate of 75 cents per hour. Permits are not a substitute for meter payments. Meters are enforced Monday through Thursday 6 a.m.–midnight and on Fridays 6 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Parking is not permitted in metered spaces after midnight. When a lot is closed, the meters located at that lot may not be used.

Vehicles with handicapped permits may be parked at meters; however, meter fees must still be paid.

After the first citation is issued for meters and time-limited loading zones, additional citations may be issued every half hour (30-minute meters), every hour (one-hour meters) or every four hours (four-hour meters) of illegal parking in those areas.

These stations allow you to purchase a parking permit at a rate of 75 cents per hour, valid in increments of six minutes to 16 hours. The permit must be placed on the passenger side of the front dash in such a way that it is clearly visible to enforcement staff. Expired pay stubs must be removed from the dash. Parking is not permitted on High Avenue or Osceola Street 2–5 a.m.

Pay-by-space stations Pay by Space

Pay-by-space stations for parking on the first level of the High Avenue parking ramp (located on the corner of High Avenue and Osceola Street) are available in the parking ramp stairwells. Rates are 75 cents per hour.

To Use:

  2. Go to the pay-by-space pay stations located in the stairwells of the ramp.

  3. Type in the space number and press ENTER.

  4. Insert bills and/or coins to add time.

  5. Press the GREEN button to validate the transaction and print receipt.  (If the GREEN button is not pushed, the transaction will NOT be valid.)
