Welcome To University Parking Services

Whether you live on campus or off, whether you drive to campus five days a week or you’re just visiting for the day, all the information about parking at UW Oshkosh is located here.

While there usually is a parking space available on campus, keep in mind that it may not be in the immediate vicinity of your intended destination, especially during our potential redevelopment of Lots 6, 10, 15, 30 and 37 this academic year. Therefore, we encourage you to arrive to campus early enough to allow time to walk to your classes, meetings and other activities, particularly during construction and peak periods of parking lot use.

We are happy to announce we are in an experimental stage of a new campus shuttle service.  Click the Shuttle Map button on the right for the map.  (Availability and times during this trial period are subject to change.)

Should you have questions about Parking Services or our parking regulations, please feel free to contact us at (920) 424-4455 or parking@uwosh.edu.

Happy Move-In Days!

If you will be moving into campus and need further information, please check out the Housing website.

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, the weekend parking rules are in effect:  no permits are required for vehicles parked in any legal, non-reserved space.  Please avoid any lots blocked for the resident move-in day if you are not involved in the move-in process.

Tuesday, September 2, 2014

No permit required in the commuter lots for Taste of Oshkosh visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Construction Updates

Due to ongoing University and City of Oshkosh construction, be aware that it may affect traffic flow.  A few areas of possible congestion include Algoma Boulevard between Dempsey Hall and Clow Science Center, on High Avenue near Clow Science Center, Pearl Avenue near Gruenhagen Conference Center, and Lot 37 by Lincoln Hall.  Please use extra caution as you travel any of the construction areas.

PERMITS AVAILABLE

Faculty and staff:  Permits for the 2014-2015 academic year are  available for purchase. If you filled out the online form to reserve a permit or responded to the email to renew a permit for a reserved space/lot, you may now stop in our office to pick up your permit.  If you have any questions, please contact us at parking@uwosh.edu or 920-424-4455.

Commuter students:  Permits for the 2014-2015 academic year are  available for purchase.  Be sure to check out our new Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, and Shuttle permit options if those apply to you.  You may stop in our office to purchase your permit.  If you have any questions, please contact our office at parking@uwosh.edu or 920-424-4455.

Students who are living in a residence hall:   A mailing was sent the week of July 7 to notify you of the 2014-2015 resident parking permit lottery.  All parking permit applications were required to be received in our office by July 31, and emails were sent to all people whose applications we received by July 31. We are currently going through late applications to issue remaining permits and will email applicants once that process is complete.  If are interested in receiving a permit but did not respond by July 31, complete this online form to be placed on a waiting list.  If you have any questions, please contact our office at parking@uwosh.edu or 920-424-4455.
