Metered Parking Meter

Metered parking is available in some campus lots (see map), at a rate of 75 cents per hour.

Nickel = 4 minutes

Dime = 8 minutes

Quarter = 20 minutes

Meters are enforced Monday through Thursday 6 a.m.–midnight. and on Fridays 6 a.m.–4 p.m. Parking is not permitted in metered spaces after midnight. When a lot is closed, the meters located at that lot may not be used.

Permits are not a substitute for meter payments.

Vehicles with handicapped permits may be parked at meters; however, meter fees must still be paid.

After the first ticket is issued for meters and time-limited loading zones, additional tickets may be issued every half hour (30-minute meters), every hour (one-hour meters) or every four hours (four-hour meters) of illegal parking in those areas.

Red meters are for thirty minutes only.

If you experience a problem with a meter, contact Parking Services immediately at 920-424-4455 to notify us of the meter number and the problem you are encountering.

Fees are subject to change.

Commuter students:  Permits for the 2014-2015 academic year are  available for purchase.  Be sure to check out our new Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, and Shuttle permit options if those apply to you.  You may stop in our office to purchase your permit.  If you have any questions, please contact our office at parking@uwosh.edu or 920-424-4455.

Students who are living in a residence hall:   A mailing was sent the week of July 7 to notify you of the 2014-2015 resident parking permit lottery.  All parking permit applications were required to be received in our office by July 31, and emails were sent to all people whose applications we received by July 31. We are currently going through late applications to issue remaining permits and will email applicants once that process is complete.  If are interested in receiving a permit but did not respond by July 31, complete this online form to be placed on a waiting list.  If you have any questions, please contact our office at parking@uwosh.edu or 920-424-4455.
