Parking in any legal, non-reserved space is free from 4:00 p.m. on Friday through 6:00 a.m. on Monday.

Pay Stations

Pay-and-Display Pay and Display Station

(In Lot 15 and along High Avenue & Osceola Street)

Pay-and-display stations are available in Lot 15 next to Blackhawk Commons as well as on High Avenue and Osceola Street. These stations allow you to purchase a parking permit valid in increments of four minutes to 16 hours.  The rate for Lot 15 is $1.50 per hour and the rate for High Avenue and Osceola Street is $1.00 per hour. The permit must be placed on the passenger side of the front dash in such a way that it is clearly visible to enforcement staff. Expired pay stubs must be removed from the dash. Parking is not permitted on High Avenue or Osceola Street 2–5 a.m.  Parking is not permitted in Lot 15 from midnight to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Friday.

If you experience a problem with a pay station, contact Parking Services immediately at 920-424-4455 to notify us of the pay station number and the problem you are encountering so we may address the issue.

Pay-by-Space Pay by Space

Pay-by-space stations for parking on the first level of the High Avenue parking ramp (located on the corner of High Avenue and Osceola Street) are available in the parking ramp stairwells. Rates are $1.00 per hour.

To Use:

  1. Pull into a parking space on the first level of the parking ramp.  REMEMBER the number of the parking space.

  2. Go to the pay-by-space pay stations located in the stairwells of the ramp.

  3. Type in the space number and press ENTER.

  4. Insert bills and/or coins to add time.

  5. Press the GREEN button to validate the transaction and print receipt.  (If the GREEN button is not pushed, the transaction will NOT be valid.)

PLEASE NOTE:  You can not add time after you have pressed the GREEN button, so please make sure you have enough money entered.  Pay stations cannot refund money.

If you experience a problem with a pay station, contact Parking Services immediately at 920-424-4455 to notify us of the pay station number and the problem you are encountering so we may address the issue.

PERMITS AVAILABLE

Faculty and staff:  Permits for the upcoming 2015-2016 year are now available for purchase as of August 10.  If you have any questions, please contact us at parking@uwosh.edu or 920-424-4455.

Commuter students:  Permits for the upcoming 2015-2016 year are now available for purchase.  Be sure to check out our new Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, and Shuttle permit options if those apply to you.  Simply stop in our office to purchase your permit.  If you have any questions, please contact our office at parking@uwosh.edu or 920-424-4455.

Students who are living in a residence hall:   Permits for the upcoming 2015-2016 year: We are currently in the process of completing the permit lottery.  Around mid-August when the lottery is completed, those students will be notified by email as to whether or not a permit is available.  All responds received by the deadline of July 31 were included in the permit lottery.   If you did not submit an application by the deadline, complete the permit lottery forms online through this link and those requests will be reviewed after the lottery is completed.
