UW Oshkosh Zimride Rideshare Community

UW Oshkosh’s Zimride Community, our social network for ridesharing, is a new, fun and easy way to coordinate your daily commute with friends and colleagues. Whether you want to be a driver or a passenger, UW Oshkosh’s private carpool network helps you match up with UW Oshkosh students, staff and faculty to split costs.

Membership is free and easy. All UW Oshkosh students, staff and faculty are eligible to sign up for our private Zimride Rideshare Community at http://zimride.uwosh.edu.

You save money, protect the environment and have more fun when you ride.

Ride your Bike, Moped, or Motorcycle

We have many bike racks located throughout campus. For information about bicycle theft prevention, please contact the University Police at 920-424-1216.

You can park your motorcycle or moped on campus with a valid Motorcycle/Moped permit displayed. Motorcycles/mopeds must be parked only in designated areas, not in regular car stalls. With a valid permit, motorcycle parking areas are available in lots 6a, 7, 11, 13, 18, 23, 25, South Gruenhagen area and the High Avenue parking ramp. These spaces are not available between Nov. 15 and April 15.

Mopeds may be parked in approved bicycle racks for security purposes, but they still must properly display valid motorcycle parking permits.  Mopeds may not be driven on sidewalks; walk mopeds to a bicycle rack.  Driving on a sidewalk is in violation of Wisconsin State Statute 346.94, and such a violation would result in a fine and points against your driver’s license.

Please see the parking map for lot locations.
