Staff and Volunteers
To ensure highly professional conduct by an attorney and other Student Legal Service Staff and sensitivity to the specialized legal needs of the student-client in the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community, a well-respected attorney, trained staff members and a SLS Director are employed by the program.
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is committed to a policy of fairness and equal opportunity for all. A diverse student body, faculty and staff, which reflect the variety and pluralism of society, are desired and encouraged. Moreover, equal access to benefits, programs, services and employment opportunities is assured for all without regard to sex, marital or parental status, race, age, religion, political beliefs or affiliation, national origin, color, creed, handicap, sexual preference and participation in constitutionally-protected activities.
Student volunteers are needed throughout the school year to assist the attorney with client intake and general office work. Student Legal Services also offers a paid Director position each academic year. The Director is selected at the end of the spring semester. If you are interested in volunteering or in the Director position, please contact or stop by the Oshkosh Student Association office for an application or call 920-424-3202 for more information.
