Who can use the OSA Student Legal Service?
If you are currently enrolled and pay segregated fees, you may use OSA Student Legal Service. In accordance with the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh policy, all eligible persons shall have equal opportunity and access to facilities without regard to race, creed, color, sex, national origin, or handicap, within program guidelines and geographic limitations. Your fee statements showing payment of a student services fee determines your eligibility.
How does one use the OSA Student Legal Service?
The OSA Student Legal Service is located in Reeve Memorial Union, Room 105E. The phone number is 424-3202. Within reason, your appointment will be scheduled at your convenience. Pressing legal concerns will be given priority. No legal advice will be given over the telephone or through email.
The OSA Student Legal Service will hold office hours on the Oshkosh campus from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The campus attorney will be available for appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Your appointment with OSA Student Legal Service will begin with your completing a client information form. This should take no more than 5 minutes and is necessary to determine the nature of your problem.
