Director. Teri Wegner has a masters degree in special education from UW Oshkosh. She has taught students with learning disabilities in the Appleton and Oshkosh school districts. Before joining the Project Success staff in 2002, Teri worked as the English instructor in the Project Success summer transition program for six summer programs.

Director Emeritus. Dr. William R. Kitz, Associate Professor of Special Education, is the director of Project Success. Dr. Kitz began working the program in 1980. He received his undergraduate degree from UW Oshkosh, his masters from UW Whitewater and his doctorate in special education from UW Madison.

Graduate Assistants. Graduate assistants perform a variety of important duties for Project Success including organizational tutors, supplemental instruction specialists, counselors and testing/assessment assistants. Graduate assistants for 2007-2008 are Kelly Melvin, Anne Willems and Steve Zeeh. All three are students in the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Counselor Education masters program.

Program Assistant. Jill Teal is the Project Success program assistant. Her duties include keeping track of the numerous applications the office receives each year and various other tasks to help the program run smoothly.

Tutoring staff. The student tutoring staff is the backbone of the Project Success program. Each year Project Success hires approximately 40-50 student tutors. All Project Success tutors must have strong academics skills. In addition, all language remediation tutors are required to take a three credit course. Many of the language remediation tutors are special education teachers in training. Each Project Success tutor generally works 5-10 hours per week and most remain with the program two or more years because of the excellent experience they receive as tutors.
