- Habitat for Humanity needs someone to help them coordinate their volunteers, meal providers, and site hosts for the build site. You need to be willing to commit to 15 hours per week. Wish List: Powdered lemonade mix , Paper towels, Plastic eating utensils, Styrofoam/insulated cups, Plastic cups, Garbage bags , Hand sanitizing wipes, Four drawer/fire proof locked cabinet, Literature cabinet. - Oshkosh Seniors Center is looking for 1-2 people to be a Newsletter Coordinator for the monthly newsletter mailing process. Duties include coordinating set up, folding, labeling, and preparation for distribution. Newsletters are folded on the third or fourth Tuesday of each month. Come join us and be our Birthday Bingo Coordinator! Coordinate the monthly birthday bingo activity held on the second Thursday of each month. Duties include coordinating bingo, the birthday celebration, and the Advocap Winnebago County Nutrition program lunch. Help us Deliver Fliers to local businesses. A group of volunteers is needed to assist the Marketing Director with this program. Want to meet new people? Greeters are needed at the Center$B!G(Js main facility. Duties include welcoming participants, making coffee, collecting dues, accepting donations, making copies, offering tours, and providing customer service. - Hope and Care Center is looking for volunteers to help out with office work. Our craft programs need volunteers. We are looking for people to lead a class in wood burning, creative writing, and an art therapy class(drawing and painting). - Volunteer Center is holding a service learning camp for youth 13 to 15 years old. Camp is Mon, July 23 thru Thurs, July 26 from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Registration Fee is $10. - Mercy Medical Center needs volunteers at reception, information and Mercy Oakwood Desk. Volunteers greet and provide information and directions to visitors and patients. Duties also include answering desk telephone and keeping the lobby area tidy. Volunteers are also needed in transport to provide patient wheelchair transport at discharge, deliver supplies and equipment to and from nursing units and ancillary departments and assist with special projects. If you are caring, energetic, and able to push patients in wheelchairs this is the area for you. - Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to assist in the preparation, service, and clean up of the noon and super program. Volunteers are needed Mon-Fri 10:00-1:00 and 4:00 – 6:30. Board Meetings are the third Thursday of the month at 4 pm at the Oshkosh Public Library. $B!|(J We are also looking for 1-2 people on Tuesdays from Noon to 1:30 pm to assist a literacy instructor in a Vocational English as a Second Language Lab. $B!|(J Looking for 1-2 people on Mondays from 4 to 6:30 pm to assist a family literacy instructor working with families and young children at Webster Stanley through the end of April and then again in the Fall. $B!|(J We could also use 1-2 people who would be able to post flyers in outlying areas such as Winneconne, Omro, Neenah, and Menasha in order to get the word out about our services and need for volunteer tutors.
