University housing is available to all students coming from abroad to attend the IEP. For on-campus housing, apply to the Department of Residence Life in advance to reserve a room. A Residence Hall and Meal Plan application packet will be sent to all admitted students who are required to live in the residence Halls.

You will live in a college dormitory while attending the UW Oshkosh IEP. The IEP coordinator will reserve a dormitory room for you with the Department of Residence Life.  Arrangements will be made as soon as you finish your IEP application materials and tell us you have a visa and are planning to definitely attend the IEP. Double occupancy rooms are equipped with furniture, utilities, and high speed internet. Meals are served in campus dining halls and offer a full range of food choices. Housing for students who are accompanied by family members is available only in off-campus residences.  If you are attending the IEP with dependants, contact the program coordinator to arrange for alternative housing.

Your residence hall will not only be “home” for nine months of the year, but it also will be an important part of your learning experience at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Here you will have the opportunity to share your ideas. As part of a group, you will be able to plan programs—recreational, educational and cultural—from which you and others can benefit. Just as families share responsibilities and show consideration, so do members of a residence hall community. You must respect other hall residents, be considerate of their study and sleeping needs and do your part to keep the hall clean and safe. The more you contribute to your hall community, the more you will get out of your residence hall experience.

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh offers students a wide variety of lifestyle options to meet the diverse needs and interests of students. All halls are smoke-free buildings that have 24- hour “open” visitation.
