Apply by the NSE deadline to ensure placement through the NSE conference. Late applications are generally not accepted but will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Office of International Education Intake Form
Before completing this on-line form, read all of the questions on the form. The form requires you to upload documents. After reading through the questions on the form, you will know which documents you must have prepared in advance for upload. THIS FORM CANNOT BE SAVED - YOU MUST SUBMIT THIS FORM AT THE TIME THAT YOU COMPLETE IT.

Mail the following directly to: Admissions Office (International Admissions), University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, 800 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI 54901, USA.

Official transcripts or marks sheets plus diplomas and certificates that confirm the degree granted, in the original language. 
--You must also upload a copy of your transcripts or marks sheets plus any diplomas and/or certificates you may have when completing the "University of Wisconsin Oshkosh International Students Form".  Create ONE pdf to include ALL of the documents that you have.--

  • All documents not in English must be accompanied by an official English translation.
  • Transcripts must include the full list of courses completed plus grades for each course EXCEPT courses currently in progress. An updated transcript must be submitted after final grades become available.
  • Exchange students with 29 or fewer college-level credits must submit documents from all secondary schools, colleges and universities previously attended/currently attending.
  • TRANSCRIPTS, DIPLOMAS & CERTIFICATES MUST BE SENT DIRECTLY TO UW OSHKOSH BY THE ISSUING INSTITUTION.  Alternatively, applicants may send transcripts, diplomas and certificates to UW Oshkosh IF they are SEALED in an envelope which has clearly been provided by UW Oshkosh Exchange Partner.

The review of your application will take between 2-4 weeks depending on the timing of the application submission. Once a decision has been made, applicants will be notified by email.

Admissions Criteria
Exchange

Admission criteria include individual course grades, a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and the English proficiency score. An applicant's high school academic record will always be considered when fewer than 30 college-level semester credits have been earned at the time of application and may also be required of any student whose application requires further review.

An individual student’s expenses may be higher than the estimate given above based on accommodation choice (accommodation above is based on the lowest-cost on-campus accommodation at UW Oshkosh), enrollment in greater than 18 credits per semester, enrollment in courses with significantly higher book estimates, personal travel around the state or country, etc. and do not include travel between the student's home institution and UW Oshkosh.
