4 - Orientation & Resources

Orientation and Pre-travel Classes

1.View the orientation presentation (*required). Orientation is customized to each program, but on average requires approximately 90 minutes to complete.
2.

Complete and submit the orientation quiz (linked from within the presentation).

  • due the 2nd Friday in November for fall interim, spring semester and spring break programs
  • due the 1st Friday in April for spring interim, summer and fall semester programs
3.Attend the in-person Q&A (optional; see the web guide for your program for details). Family member attendance is invited and encouraged. Family members should review the full on-line orientation prior to attending.
4.Attend in-person orientation or pre-travel classes, if offered, led by your program leaders or department advocates (see the web guide for your program for details)

*Participants who do not complete the orientation requirements prior to the orientation deadline will be removed from their programs. The withdrawal & refund policy will apply.
