You can choose to study abroad through a non-UW Oshkosh-sponsored program!

Can't find a program that fits your needs at UW Oshkosh or through UW System? Look elsewhere! Study through another U.S. university offering programs abroad, through a study abroad company, or by direct enrolling in a university abroad.

The OIE offers group advising to anyone interested in studying through a non-UW Oshkosh-sponsored program. We'll help you define your expectations, give you tools to search for a program and advise you on the "business" you'll need to take care of at UW Oshkosh before and after studying abroad.

The OIE can advise on credit transfer, academic leave of absence, transcripts, program fees & budgeting, financial aid and more.

Bring the Paperwork handout with you to your OIE advising appointment.

Let us know that you plan to join us for group advising so that we can send you a list of current advising dates, times and locations to choose from!

If you study abroad through a program which is not sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, you must contact the OIE to register as a study abroad student.
