Why do I have to use my UW Oshkosh email address when communicating with the OIE?
Once you have applied for a study abroad program, virtually all communication from the OIE will be done via email to groups of students. Because we send to groups, many email programs send our group messages to the cyber trash without your knowing about it! Therefore, if you are a student at UW Oshkosh, the OIE will only use your UW Oshkosh email address. If you are not a UW Oshkosh student, the OIE will use your school or work email address. The OIE will not accept hotmail or yahoo addresses under any circumstances.
I've never used my UW Oshkosh email address before. How do I do this?
You can learn to use your UW Oshkosh email address through web-mail (https://webmail.uwosh.edu/). Should you have trouble accessing your account, please call the Academic Computing help desk at (920) 424-3020.
