2007-2008 Tuition Waiver Reapplication

  Dear International Students:

Please complete the reapplication form below for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Tuition Waiver Award. All continuing students receiving the tuition waiver are required to submit the reapplication form every academic year. The International Student Fee Waiver Committee will review all applications for the tuition waiver and notify successful applicants.

The partial fee waiver will provide an award to offset the difference between resident and non-resident tuition.  Please note that Partial Tuition Waiver Awards do not cover the following: the resident portion of tuition fees, room, board, personal, and other miscellaneous expenses. Recipients of a Full Tuition Waiver Award will also have the resident portion of their tuition and fees waived.

The committee also informs you that this award may be renewed in successive semesters if you satisfy all of the following conditions:

1. If undergraduate, you must enroll in and successfully complete a minimum of twelve (12) undergraduate credits per semester.  If graduate, you must enroll in and successfully complete a minimum of nine (9) graduate credits per semester.

2. If undergraduate, you must maintain a minimum semester grade point average of 2.00 on a 4.00 grading scale each semester.

3. If undergraduate, you must maintain the following minimum cumulative grade point average on a 4.00 scale each semester:
  • 2.00 or higher          0-29 credits (freshman)
  • 2.25 or higher          30-59 credits (sophomore)
  • 2.50 or higher          60 and above (junior/senior)
If graduate, you must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 grading scale each semester regardless of the number of credits earned.

The application form must be returned to the International Student Advisor’s Office (Dempsey 146) on or before April 30, 2007.

Please feel free to contact International Student Services if you have any questions regarding this information.
