Redesign reflects engaged community
What if, along with our “to do” list, we had a “to be” list, too? — Ken Johnston
Welcome to the inaugural edition of Engage, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s updated magazine. The goal – nearly a year in the making and part of the University’s integrated marketing and communications “to be” list – was to develop an enhanced publication that gives voice to the distinctive and enriching life at UW Oshkosh.
With an expanded online version and fresh sections, such as “Creativity” and “Voices,” we offer alumni and community friends new insight into the distinguished past, vibrant present and exciting future of the state’s third-largest university.
Each issue of Engage will focus on the campus viewpoint of issues and trends that affect our community as well as their impact on higher education locally and nationally.
The cover story for this first issue couldn’t be more timely or relevant, as our campus joins the nation in taking part in one of the most engaging political contests in recent years.
As the University continues its commitment to sustainable practices, fewer copies of the magazine have been printed and this expanded online version offers bonus content and enhanced coverage of alumni news.![]()
We hope you will take a few minutes to explore both the print and online versions and determine which new features are your favorites.
Let us know what you think by sending a letter to the editor or a quick e-mail.
Sincerely,
