Four University of Wisconsin Oshkosh faculty members have been awarded grants for professional development through the teaching component of the Faculty Development Program.
Radio-TV-film (RTF) students at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh turned their education up a notch by listening, learning and earning certification in radio marketing Nov. 5 and Nov. 8 in the Arts and Communication building on campus.

E. Alan Hartman received the Lynne Webster Leadership Award Nov. 9 during the Chamber’s 102nd Annual Meeting and Recognition Program, held at the Oshkosh Convention Center.

Students in professor Michelle Tobia’s advanced ceramics course donated 72 handmade bowls to Empty Bowls, a soup sampler event that addresses hunger in Oshkosh, which is on the increase.
The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has named UW Oshkosh’s Ayla Mitchell, a senior from New Richmond, as its 2009 Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete of the Year in women’s cross country.
