Practical Lessons
Today’s classes are designed for a wide range of learning styles and involve real-life exercises.
You want classes and lessons you can apply in real life. Knowledge to succeed in your job. Skills that advance your career. Abilities that let you earn more.
Because Center for New Learning classes are designed for adult students, instructors build their class lessons around practical information that you can apply now and in the future.
Interactive Learning
If you think a college classroom includes a professor lecturing at the front of the room for every class, think again. Today’s classes are designed for a wide range of learning styles and involve real-life exercises.
Center for New Learning classes are interactive, with hands-on projects and in-depth discussions you can apply and bring back to work with you. Student groups have investigated highway reconstruction and funding, developed proposals for public transportation systems through Northeast Wisconsin, identified human resources/staffing issues, and more. Some students even turn their ‘homework’ into recommendations that businesses and public sector organizations have implemented.
