Advising and Support
Many of our staff members graduated from CNL programs, too!
From the first-time you look at our program to the day you graduate, our advisers stand with you. We can help you:
- Select a program—Center for New Learning advisers are trained to help you pick the program best suited to your needs, lifestyle, learning style and job market.
- Transfer credits—Whether you’ve earned a two-year associate’s degree at a technical college, completed a two-year degree at a University of Wisconsin System school or started a four-year degree at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh or another college/university, we can help you transfer credits toward your Center for New Learning degree.
- Set a timeline— Because this program is built for real life, you choose how many classes you want to take at a time. Or, if you have a specific goal, Center for New Learning advisers can help you set a timeline to meet that goal. Some students want to graduate with their son or daughter. Others need to finish in a short time frame. You can even take a break in the middle of the program. Your timeline is your own.
- Anticipate costs—Many adult students live on a tight budget. Center for New Learning advisers can help you figure out what going back to school will cost and your payment options. Many employers offer tuition reimbursement. Center for New Learning advisers can also help you find out whether you qualify for grants, scholarships, loans or other financial aid.
Our desire to help you succeed comes from personal experience—many of our staff members graduated from Center for New Learning programs.
