Welcome to the UW Oshkosh Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association Reaccreditation Web site.

Welcome to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association Web site.  The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  The University's last reaccreditation was in 1997.  Reaccreditation occurs every ten years.  In preparation for the next reaccreditation evaluation by the Higher Learning Commision of the North Central Association in Spring 2007, the University must engage in an extensive self-study process.  This self-study process offers the University an opportunity to review and reflect upon our strengths, weaknesses, and challenges as an institution of higher education.  Further, the self-study process serves as a historical map of where we have been and where we should be going in the future.

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to inform themselves about this reaccreditation process.  This Web site will provide you with the necessary information to become an active participant in the self-study process over the next two years.  For a self-study process to be truly valuable, the entire campus community must participate.  Your participation is welcomed and appreciated.
