á  Steering committee organizes and selects principle subcommittees

á  Subcommittees gather data, conduct interviews, analyze, and develop draft reports for submission to steering committee

á  Participates in Workshop on Self-Study and other Annual Meeting programs (March/April)

á   Staff liaison reviews the design and provides feedback to the organization

á   Staff liaisons make presentations on self-study and other topics meet with organizations at the Annual Meeting

á  Steering Committee circulates and receives reaction to draft report

á  Editor compiles final self-study report

á   Commission sends a list of proposed team members and an Evaluation Visit Summary Sheet to organization

á  Sends comments on proposed team members to the Commission

á   Commission formally invites team members to participate

á   Commission notifies organization and team that team is complete. (In general, fall teams are completed by August 1, spring teams are completed by October 15)

á   Team chair contacts organization to make arrangements for evaluation visit

á   Commission sends materials for the visit to team and the organization
