Prospective Students Audition Information
Audition DATES
An audition date and time for scholarship auditions and entrance auditions can be reserved by submitting the appropriate audition form via the internet. Entrance audition request forms are only available on-line until a week before the last scheduled audition date. No entrance auditions will be able to be arranged once Spring semester ends on May 15 until Fall semester begins on September 9, 2009.
Application deadline for scholarship applications is February 1, 2009 for Fall 2009 admission. Late application for scholarship auditions will be considered only if audition space is available.
Keep in mind that space in studios is limited and auditions for acceptance into the program are competitive, therefore, an early audition date is recommended.

Dates for admission in Fall 2009:
- Freshman Scholarship Audition (will also serve as
an Entrance Audition)
- Saturday, February 14, 2009 (No BASSOON Auditions on 2/14/09)
- Sunday, February 22, 2009
- Saturday, February 28, 2009
- Entrance Only: (for Freshmen NOT auditioning for scholarship,
and Transfer students)
- Saturday, March 14, 2009 (PLEASE NOTE: PIANO Auditions WILL NOT take place on 3/14/09.)
- Saturday, April 11, 2009
Entrance auditions are only for those students who have applied and been accepted to the university who plan to major or minor in music. Auditions for ensembles are usually held the first week of classes in the fall.
