Ph.D., M.M., B.M.; Music Education; received her Bachelor¹s and Master¹s Degrees in Music Education from Ohio University, and taught K-12 instrumental and general music for five years in Ohio public schools. There, she directed instrumental ensembles at all levels. Dr. Lethco received her Ph.D. in Music Education from Louisiana State University, minoring in wind conducting. She was a student of James Byo and Frank Wickes. Dr. Lethco has served as an adjudicator, clinician, and guest conductor and has performed and taught trumpet throughout her career. She serves on the board of the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Band Association and the Publications Committee of the Wisconsin School Music Association. She has presented research at state and national conventions, has published in Contributions to Music Education, and has presented an interest session at the Wisconsin Music Education Association State Music Conference. This is Dr. Lethco¹s seventh year at UW Oshkosh teaching as a lecturer in music, having previously taught in the Music Education Department at Baylor University. She has taught courses in general and instrumental music education, music theory, music appreciation, and has directed the university bands.
