The UW Oshkosh Music Department offers a variety of ensembles for both instrumental and vocal students, all of which are open to both music majors and non-music majors alike.  They afford our musicians the opportunity to enhance their own skills while working alongside their peers and world-class conductors.  From our larger ensembles including our Bands, Choirs, and Symphony Orchestra to some of our more specialized ensembles such as Handbell Choir, Percussion Ensemble, or Opera Theatre, we offer a unique fit for everybody. Department of Music ensembles are open to both music majors and non-music majors by audition. Auditions for ensemble participation are usually held the first week of classes in the fall, and sign-up sheets are usually posted at that time outside the ensemble directors' offices.
