Student Employment

The Department, on occasion, may have openings for student positions within the department: office workers, music library, and ushers / stage crew. Ushers / stage crew put in the majority of their hours on evenings and weekends according to their availability.

Due to budgetary constraints, we attempt to hire the majority of our student workers from those who have been awarded work study money. If we cannot acquire enough employees with work study eligibility, we will consider hiring those students in the Student Assistant category so that all positions will be filled.

Please feel free to submit the Student Application Form if you are looking for employment with us. It may be sent to the Student Employee Supervisor in care of the Department of Music, UW Oshkosh, 800 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, WI 54901.  The application may also be scanned and emailed to elmera@uwosh.edu or faxed to (920) 424-1266.
