The UW Oshkosh Department of Music invites violin, viola, cello, and bass students from around the state to this exciting musical experience.  This highly successful one-day festival involves string orchestra rehearsal, a solo competition, masterclass, and sectional coaching.  A final informal performance in renowned Music Hall will complete the day.  The Festival is designed for students entering grades 5 through 12 (younger students may be accepted by consent of private teacher and parent).  Register today!

Perform “Autumn” or “Winter” from Antonio Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” with the Festival Orchestra!  Rules: Open to violinists 18 years old or younger.  Competition will be held at 10am on November 10.  Competitors must participate in all of the day’s String Festival activities.  Only one movement should be prepared.  The Festival Judges may select one, multiple, or no winner(s).
