Piano Duet Day

The Piano Duet Day “Fun for 2” creates a collaborative opportunity for teachers and students (high school and college) coming from the Oshkosh Area Music Teachers Association and UW Oshkosh piano students. Participants from each group will prepare repertoire for 4 hands piano or 2 pianos to be rehearsed and performed with the same or a different partner. Duo partners meet on the day of the event and rehearse assisted/coached by a UW Oshkosh piano student, perform in a Master Class taught by Dr. Eli Kalman, have an informal lunch at Reeve Union, rehearse again and finally perform in a public concert at 3:00 pm on our Music Hall stage at UW Oshkosh. In the middle of this event there will be a brief presentation of fun works by Saint Saens and Dinu Lipatti, including a student "concerto" presentation by participants.
