Accompanist Information

Vocal auditions require an accompanist.  Pre-recorded accompaniments are not allowed.  Students are advised to bring their own accompanist for their vocal audition. However, in the event the student does not have an accompanist, the Department of Music will provide one upon request, at no charge (with the exception of late auditions or Skype auditions; see below).  Students who require an accompanist must mail or email legible copies of their music to the Department of Music.  Music must arrive no later than the deadlines listed below.  If the deadline is not met, the accompanist may not play for the audition.

November 14, 2018 - sheet music due by October 31, 2018

February 10, 2019 - sheet music due by January 25, 2019

March 2, 2019 - sheet music due by February 15, 2019

April 13, 2019 - sheet music due by March 29, 2019

Students who have requested an accompanist will be assigned a brief rehearsal time with the accompanist prior to the audition.

Please send your audition music (must be legible copies) to the address below:

LATE AUDITIONS: Our staff accompanist is only guaranteed during our scheduled audition dates. Any voice auditions set outside of these dates are subject to a $20 fee paid directly to our accompanist when you arrive for your audition.

SKYPE AUDITIONS: Due to the nature of live video and subsequent logistics, we can not provide an accompanist for Skype auditions. You must enlist your own.
