  • It may LOOK like nothing's happening, but in a bit a box will pop up in front of your browser and you will be asked to Save the File.
  • See the below illustration. You will need to save the file to your computer. A good place might be your Desktop or the Temp folder on your c: drive (c:\temp).
  • Don't forget where you saved the file, because you'll need to find it again! You may want to write down the file name (ar40eng.exe) so you can find it.

Don't forget to print these instructions first!

Step 4: Finding the file you just downloaded & double clicking it!

  • If you can't figure out where you saved the file, try using the Find option on your computer to search for the file. (In Win95, click the Start button and choose Find, then type the file name). If you are in Windows 3.1, go to your File Manager and use the Find command there.
  • After you have found the file, simply double click on it to begin the Installation process. It gets easier from here on out! Pat yourself on the back if you got this far!

Printing Adobe Acrobat Files - 2 Common & Easily Remedied Problems!

Cut Off Edges

If you printed one of our forms and the edges are cut off, try the steps below. You can probably fix this in the Print Dialog Box.

  1. Pull up the desired Mentoring Form.
  2. Click on File and choose Print.
  3. In the box that appears, put a "check-mark" in the "Shrink To Fit" box.
  4. Click OK to print.

Only Prints the First Page

Some users of Microsoft Internet Explorer may find that when printing a form with mulitple pages, only the first page prints. Try this to remedy the problem:

  1. Pull up the desired Mentoring Form.
  2. Instead of going up to the Microsoft Explorer menu bar and choosing File and then Print, use the smaller toolbar that appears near the top of our form. This is called the Adobe Acrobat Reader's tool bar.
  3. Click on the little button that looks like a printer.
