Nontraditional Student Week
In honor and recognition of returning adult students, colleges and universities all over the United States celebrate National Nontraditional Student Week, November 7–11, 2011.
Chancellor Wells has designated the week as Nontraditional Student Week at UW Oshkosh as well, to draw attention to the nearly 3,000 nontraditional undergraduate and graduate students at UW Oshkosh.

Part of this week's celebration is our Thank Your Professor campaign. The Division of Lifelong Learning and Community Engagement encourages you to fill out our online form or pick up a postcard in Dempsey hall 111, 313 or 323 and send a message to a professor who has made UW Oshkosh more inclusive to adult nontraditional students.

The whole campus is invited to join us for a Fabulous 1980s party! We will watch the original Footloose, and there will be free popcorn and beverages. Prizes will be given for the most authentic 80s costumes.

Come see UWO students' military artifacts and read their stories at the veteran-themed Art Jam in honor of Veteran's day. See a gallery and exhibit based on the experience of military veterans at UW Oshkosh.
