Explore a career in fire and emergency response!
The Fire Science Career Exploration Program is a residential camp experience that provides young men and women with opportunities to explore careers in fire and emergency response services.
Through a combination of instruction and hands-on application, campers will participate in a variety of activities that present a realistic view of fire service careers; be challenged with problem-solving, team building and leadership development activities; explore college life; and get career and resumé planning assistance.
The camps are held on the UW Oshkosh campus with off-campus field experiences at the Appleton Fire Department, Grand Chute Department, Fox Valley Technical College Regional Fire Training Center and Oshkosh Fire Department.
