Nyoka Croxton
Nyoka Croxton started the Paralegal Certificate program at UW Oshkosh in 2009 because she has always had an interest in the paralegal profession.
The program is offered online and allows participants to achieve their certificate at their own pace. Nyoka completed the program in one year.
“Taking the course online allowed me to obtain my certificate without disrupting my life as traditional classes sometimes can.”
“When I realized that my local, nationally accredited college offered a certificate program, I did not hesitate to enroll,” she said.
Nyoka said that she hopes her certificate will help her in finding a paralegal position. “Being a certified paralegal should allow me to continue to work in a paralegal capacity, even if legislation is passed to regulate the profession.”

Bunny Hansen, Outreach Program Manager for the UW Ohskosh Office of Continuing Education and Extension gives Nyoka Croxton her certificate of completion.
