E. Burns - Volunteer of the Year
In 2000, the Steering Committee of the Learning in Retirement Organization established the E. Burns Apfeld LIR Volunteer of the Year Award. This award is given annually to recognize an LIR member(s) that has given outstanding service and leadership to our organization. The entire LIR membership has the opportunity to nominate an individual or individuals that they believe has provided this leadership.

Robert L Berner - Teaching Excellence Award
