Evolve, Innovate and Customize: Meeting the needs of current and future generations of adult learners

The 2013 UW Oshkosh ASRR Conference will highlight successful innovative approaches to recruitment, retention, adult learning and advising. Participants will leave the conference with applicable lessons and strategies that they can implement at their institution. 

Breakout sessions will provide participants with an array of options and allow time to explore model strategies. The roundtable discussions this year will focus on marketing to adult students. Conference participants, whether they market programs themselves or if they work with a centralized marketing department, will gain insight and knowledge from sharing and brainstorming with others. 

Learn not only what top colleges and universities are doing in the areas of adult student recruitment and retention, but also how adult learners react, the obstacles institutions face, and the positive outcomes of new initiatives. 

Who should attend?

Past participants include staff from technical, community and comprehensive institutions. This program is specifically designed for higher education staff and faculty who work with adult nontraditional students in many capacities, including:
