Flexible Courses

The decision to come back to school is a big one. Many adult students wonder whether they can juggle home, work, family and college classes.

You can! And, we can help. Our distance learning, online courses, evening/weekend schedules and hybrid classes are built around real life and flexible enough to meet your needs:

Evening/Weekend Courses

If you’re like many students enrolled in Center for New Learning programs, you work during the day. That’s why we offer many evening courses that begin after 5 p.m. In some cases, Saturday courses are also offered.

Hybrid Courses

In hybrid classes, instruction takes place both in the classroom and online. The majority of classes in the following programs are offered in a hybrid format:

  • Leadership and Organizational Studies
  • Leadership Development
  • Liberal Studies
  • Organizational Administration

Online Courses

These classes are exclusively online. All courses in the following programs are taught online:

  • Fire and Emergency Response Management
  • Human Services Leadership Online
  • Organizational Administration Online

Some CNL courses are offered both online and in the classroom. Students in traditional on-campus programs are welcome to enroll in online courses if space permits.

Flexible Scheduling

Most courses offered through the Center for New Learning (distance learning, on-campus courses, hybrid courses and online course) take place on a seven-week schedule, instead of the regular 14. This gives you even more flexibility as you develop your schedule.

At the Center for New Learning, you’re in the driver’s seat. You choose the easiest way for you to take classes. We’ll help you find a way to make your education work with your life.
