Our Students
There is no ‘typical’ student in our online degree and certificate programs!
- All are adult learners.
- Most work full-time.
- Most are between the ages of 20 and 60.
- Most live in Northeast Wisconsin.
- Many are parents.
- Some hold a technical college or a degree from a two-year college.
- Others started a college degree—before life got in the way.
- Some students are entering college for the first time.
Some will use their degrees to launch a new career. Others will use new-found skills to grow in their current jobs. Many of our students simply want the satisfaction and sense of accomplishment that comes with earning a university degree. Our students’ goals are as varied as their lives.
Wondering if you’ll fit in? As long as you are driven by your desire to get your degree, you’ll feel right at home in at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Division of Lifelong Learning and Community Engagement.
