Students who enroll in the Public Safety program must have already completed an Associate of Applied Studies (AAS degree) in Criminal Justice (Law Enforcement or Corrections) or similar program. Associate degrees from technical and community colleges will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Program and Graduation Requirements
This program will focus on leadership and administration for the public safety sector. Courses in this program include:
Students transfer up to 60 credits from their associate degree programs. In addition to those courses, students are required to complete 24 credits of core courses and 15 credits of Public Safety courses. There may be additional general education requirements based on courses covered through transfer.
