When you enter the Human Services Leadership Online degree program, you will apply to one of the following, depending on your level of prior education:

Introductory program courses
-
Official program admission
-
Intermediate field placement
-
Major field placement
-
Out-of-area field placement
Introductory Program Course Requirements
Applicants to the introductory courses for the Human Services Leadership Online degree program must fulfill the following three requirements:

Applicant must have declared Human Services as his or her major of study
-
Applicant must have completed a minimum of 56 credits
-
Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or 2.75 if he or she is an articulation agreement student
Official Program Admission I and Intermediate Internship / Professional Development Requirements
Applicants for official enrollment in the Human Services Leadership Online degree program or the Admission I must fulfill the following five requirements:

Completion of at least the following three courses in the Human Services major:

203 - Introduction of Human Services
-
310 - Interpersonal Relations in the Helping Professions
-
One of the following additional core courses: 320, 335 or 340.

Human Services GPA of 2.75
-
University cumulative GPA of 2.50
-
Completion of at least 65 credits

Positive faculty recommendation.
Admission II and Advanced Internship / Professional Development Requirements
Applicants to Admission II in the Human Services Leadership Online degree program must fulfill the following four requirements:

Completion of all Human Services required program courses (except 440, which may be taken concurrently)

Human Services GPA of 3.0
-
University cumulative GPA of 2.75
-
Positive faculty recommendation
