Many FERM graduates go on to continue their education by enrolling in a master's degree program. Click here for a full list of UW Oshkosh graduate degree options.

UWO Master in Public Administration

UW Oshkosh offers a Master in Public Administration degree, which complements the FERM program by providing advanced knowledge and training in managing public, nonprofit and health care organizations. The program is delivered through weekend, evening and online courses.

The MPA program combines a commitment to academic excellence with concern for the applied aspects of public administration. MPA students are college graduates who have applicable work experience and demonstrate a desire to learn about the theories and practices of managing governmental and nonprofit organizations. Graduates of this program are successful leaders and lifelong learners.

Some courses in this program relate specifically to the fire and emergency response services and are taught by Wisconsin Fire Chiefs.
