The following admissions procedures are for online degree and certificate programs students only. If you have any questions, please contact a UW Oshkosh online degree program pre-advisor at (800) INFO-UWO. 

New Student Application Process

Step 1: Apply to UW Oshkosh

Students may apply online at https://apply.wisconsin.edu. Applications may also be obtained by contacting the admissions office. 

Step 2: Submit a $44 Nonrefundable Application Fee

Submit a $44 nonrefundable application fee. If you are applying as a degree-seeking student to a UW System institution, the nonrefundable application fee of $44 is required. If the last institution you attended was a UW College (two-year campus), the application fee is not required.

Once accepted, you will receive an official acceptance letter from the Division of Lifelong Learning and Community Engagement. This letter will contain information on your academic advisor, online class orientation, and enrolling in classes. You are encouraged to meet with your adviser to help answer any questions you may have you’re your college career.

Transfer Student Application Process

Step 1: Apply to UW Oshkosh

Students may apply online at https://apply.wisconsin.edu. Applications may also be obtained by contacting the admissions office. 

 
Step 2: Send Your College/University Transcripts

Forward an official transcript from all colleges or universities previously attended. An official high school transcript from a recognized high school is also required if a student is applying with less than 30 transferable semester hours of credit from previously attended colleges or universities.
