For their third year, the Nontraditional Student Organization (NTSO) will be participating in NAMIWalks for the Mind of America this fall. NAMI’s signature walk-a-thon event will be held in Appleton, Wis., at Appleton Memorial Park on October 3, 2009. NTSO’s team, the Wave Walkers, are looking for additional members to join them. If you would like to join us and walk with our team, please sign up online at Wave Walkers.
The Wave Walkers have set a team goal of ten walkers and $1,000 in donations. If you would prefer to sponsor a walker instead of walking yourself, you can do so online or by contacting Paula Verrett at (920) 424-3350. Sponsoring online is fast and secure, and the team will receive immediate notification via e-mail of your donation.
