Credit for Prior Learning
At UW Oshkosh, students have the opportunity to earn college credits for their valuable work and life experiences three ways.
- Adult students learn to develop a portfolio that demonstrates
their prior learning, skill and theory in the two-credit course Interdisciplinary Studies 145. Portfolio Option - CLEP exams are offered for those students who wish to demonstrate prior learning through taking a test. CLEP Option
- Veterans may earn credit for learning and experience gained in their military service. Military Option
