SocINDEX contains over 2 million records from more than 1,200 core journals (some dating as far back as 1895), plus another selected group of over 3,200 journals, as well as monographs and conference papers. The database includes full text from 766 journals, some back to 1908, more than 820 monographs, and 13,900 conference papers. Also included are over 25,000 biographical and bibliographic Author Profiles.

Points of View Reference Center is a full-text database designed to provide students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. The database offers 255 topics, each with an overview, two opposing points of view, and critical thinking guide. The contents include 1,143 main essays, leading political magazines from both sides of the aisle, newspapers, TV and radio news transcripts, primary source documents, reference books, and the Video Encyclopedia of the 20th Century.
