Stephen Katz
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. I have graduate degrees in special education and library science.
I have taught special needs children and 1st and 2nd graders. In addition to working at Polk Library, I have worked at the Chicago Public Library and Northeastern Illinois University. Currently, I serve as the Coordinator of the Education Materials Center.
I am currently a member of the Special Education Advisory Council. Previously, I have served as a member of search and screen committees for COEHS. I did volunteer work as a tutor for the WInnebago County Literacy Council and delivered books to shut-ins for the Oshkosh Public Library. I currently serve on a national committee which serves education librarians.
