Sarah Neises
I received a B.A. in English from the University of Northern Iowa. I received a master's degree in Library and Information Studies (MILS) from the University of Michigan.
I started at Polk Library in 1996 as a reference librarian. Prior to this, I worked at the University of Michigan Social Work Library. My position at Polk Library has evolved over the past years. As the Head of Public Services, I supervise many of the people who interact directly with students, faculty and staff. I have a strong interest in helping students achieve their academic goals and am committed to providing excellent service as the role of the library changes.
In my time at UW Oshkosh, I have served on committees such as the Senate of Academic Staff, the Academic Computing Users Group and the University Honors Council.
